Cold start and quick discussion of how I did rigged my muffler delete. I get asked fairly often and this is the vid I will reference.
Tbh I wish I had just left the muffler on lol. I don’t always enjoy the loud Coldstart. The next car I upgrade to won’t get the same rough treatment lol.

Right after the downstream o2 sensor I have the cts turbo 3 inch exhaust open right in the middle of the car, You should try it at least one time and do a couple pulls like that it’s way to loud it’s awesome and the turbo sounds are out of control, Bad thing is the exhaust fumes and of course it does get annoying sometimes, But to try it one time to experience it I highly recommend

Breh I did it by accident because the coupler from the DP to the factory exhaust came loose I thought my car exploded it scared the shit out of me. The drive back to my house everyone was staring at me lolol

thoughts on drilling holes into the muffler to make it only slightly louder? not that i would ever do that, but someone told me it would make it slightly louder. nice build btw

Thanks! Personally wouldn’t drill holes in mufflers. Always sounds kinda hissy/airy like an exhaust leak to me. For slightly louder I would just get the muffler swapped to a smaller one. I ended up putting a flowmaster back on this car before I traded it in. I have a video up of that too. Muffler delete was fun for a bit but overall too loud for a 4cyl sedan IMO.

Where did you get your window wind deflectors? I have a 2020 VW Passat and looking for some simple upgrades to aesthetically make it pop a little more.

hi, i had a question maybe you could help. in regards to your downpipe with spacer, im looking to do the same with my 2015 passat. i saw from another video you said you had intermittent codes for catalyst and rich to lean/ lean to rich. im curious about what monitors in your car are set / not set. im in NY and im allowed one monitor not to set for inspection. any chance you could relay this information back to me. specifically o2 sensor monitor, o2 sensor heater monitor and catalyst monitor. thanks

Texas has the same requirements it seems. We are allowed to have one monitor ‘not set’. I’ve never looked at that in my car but I pass inspection with the intermittent codes present and no light on the dash. I’ll try to take a look this weekend at the monitors

I just found my last inspection slip from after the Downpipe and spacer install and all of those you mention are status “ready”

3” Downpipe with hi flow cat (or no cat) will make all the whistling sounds from the exhaust. Muffler delete makes it a bit louder. Air intake makes the “blow off” sounds.

@@DADMOBILE_Garage Yeah wasn't sure if the downpipe had more of affect or if you had like a cold air and combo of the muffler delete I just got rid of my BMW 550i and got a 2017 r line and I'm looking to spruce it up a little bit as you can imagine I'm taking a little bit of a step backwards lol going from V8 Carnage to a 1.8 L turbo.
