i own one and luckly is under warranty . after 7year my transmission was K-O . so Chrysler Dodge change it and took about 3month . now it drive like brand new

Hi I have 2011 Routan its ran great until it started cranking but turn on sometimes I think its fuel pump. Is there a way to check fuel pump is working?

If the 2011 Routan has a fuel pressure test port then a fuel pressure test gauge can be installed to check fuel pressure the Autel DS808 MaxiDAS scan tool includes a feature to perform a fuel pressure test without starting the engine.

If the computer goes out on this wish is what happened with me first year I own it it will cost you a fortune almost $1500 or more and can only be done at the dealer , get rid of it ASAP

The vehicle has a check engine light that indicated a problem with the transmission but the driver continued to operate the vehicle for an extended period of time until the vehicle wouldn't move. Pump, under drive clutch...and probably valve body.

They should be serviced at 60 thousand miles, regardless of no dip stick. It's easy to check using the oil dip stick.

Just use the engine oil level dip stick to check the tranny fluid level.

@@matthewvonarx1181 This vehicle is used as an Uber Van and was operating for a long time with low transmission fluid level and solid Check Engine light on. It was pushed to the point that it would not move and the owner opted for a used unit from one of our local used auto parts yards. It is back in service as an Uber Van but the owner is careful to check transmission fluid level.

It takes ATF+4 only, not autoquest univeral fluid. The in pan filter is prone to clog at this milage from wear. Service every 50k mi or sooner, lifetime fluid means "out of warranty"

I'm looking at buying this same van 2010. He says drove fine no issues one day parked it and then it wouldn't start because the transmission sensor says stuck in drive. I've read up on it but would like your opinion it only has 130000 miles and they are asking 1200. What do you think it could be and is it worth a shot to buy it

Hello everyone, I have one of these 2012 VW Routan SE ,don’t know if I should call it that Or a Chrysler , Anyway it’s doing the same exact noise same exact problem with the transmission except that it drives when it’s cold only for the first 20 minutes than transmission fail to shift , it’s paid off , is it worth it to fix it ? Or just get rid of it ?It seems very difficult to get answers from transmission places

Worst ever , I bought this 5 years ago in 2016 and had nothing but problems , computer , than fuses , alternator , now transmission, it’s sitting in front of my house for the past 3 years and I am paying for it every month . Piece of shit , Thank god I used it first 2 years as a gypsy cab 😂 and it paid for it self ..I will never recommend it to anyone
