This video should go viral. People who make fun of 1.0 tsi need to see this. I was sure that 1.0 tsi would cross 200 mark and it will if you push it further but it is not safe. I have pushed my 1.2 mpi till 200. German engineering is next level truck is good for reliability and cheap at maintaining but when you cruising on the Highway you will never get this feeling and confidence that german engineering. I have done 80km/hr plus sharp turns in my polo try that with a hyndai kia or toyota you will get the results. Now i know 1.0 tsi is enough no need for 1.5 tsi and spending 4-6 lakhs more as 99% of the time i won't push it.

Completely agree. I had to do this for everyone who kept saying 1.0L isn’t powerful enough. Honestly this is more than enough for Indian roads and yes the comfort level even at high speeds in a German car is unmatchable with other rivals.

Literally the same but I liked Kushaq’s design with a logo “skoda crystal lights” looks sexy! Regarding the steering and handling.. It's a very tough question to answer 😃 I felt that the Taigun was a little stiffer, but I need to consider that I drove the new Kushaq for the first time and wasn't accustomed to its steering. The urge to pull and the confidence, even at high speeds, is impeccable. Both are great cars, and we all know they share the same DNA 😉

When on a highway or sometimes even in the city, that tiny 1.0 is like an eager puppy straining on its leash, waiting to break free in an open ground. The car just pulls you back into your seat and holds you there. The last time I heard the exact same thing was from my friend when he drives his beauty in sports mode. And guess what he drives? It’s a good choice. Basically it’s the same engine but you gonna miss a few features like ventilated seats, cruise controls, 17 inch alloys, LEDs, Sunroof etc. Initially you might struggle a little between 1st and 2nd gears at lower RPM but once you get used to it you gonna be fine.

I have Tiguan 2.0 tsi ,in 8 months i did 13k km ,longest trip in single stretch 750km in tamilnadu,and kerala, terrain is exactly opposite, no fatigue on worst road of kerala with average speed of 38km,or best roads of tamilnadu with average speed of 78km,before buying Tiguan i had q3,f48 x1. I felt Tiguan is better than both of them to drive, stability at high speed, passenger comfort and secured feeling in all conditions

Great to hear that! I share the same feeling as you. My Taigun gives me a sense of confidence. 😊 Also, to add, I have driven 21,000 kilometers in 9 months 😀. My longest trip was from Bengaluru to Shirdi. Just yesterday, I returned from Coorg to Bangalore, and I purposely took the worst roads to enjoy the forest drives. Despite driving for close to 6 hours straight, I didn't feel exhausted when I got home.
