Sir the best way is to first identify that which cylinder's intake valves are open ,and just leave that cylinder alone, and rest of the 3 are supposed to be closed or partially closed , so just make sure they are closed properly and then we can use a solvent ( can be diesel as well ) with a brush for agitation and carefully clean the whole intake valve stem and intake runners as well , at last we have to make sure that we are not leaving any left over solvent in that area or else it can hydrolock the engine ( using paper towel is not advisable as they can tear and can get trapped inside ) and then rotate the engine clockwise to cover close the valves which were earlier open and repeat the process . Hope you got what i am trying to convey .

I have changed my thermostat but at 11:00 I didn’t make the high pressure line loose from the injector port and turn the car over I had forgotten that step could that be a reason to why my car won’t start?

I didn't understand the last steps to purge air from the high pressure line. Is the idea to let the air and some fuel flow out of the loose connectors? I thought the high pressure pump did not run until the car is cranked.

Sir , every part runs under some clearance, even the high pressure pump as well . A high pressure pump generates around 3000-4500 psi of pressure inside the fuel rail , but its job is not to pull the fuel from the tank . For that we have a delivery pump in the tank which generates around 40-50 psi of fuel pressure which is sufficient for supplying the high pressure pump Now , when we keep the pipe connection of the injectors loose , the system is not air tight anymore , the 40-50 psi of fuel pressure from the delivery pump seaps through the high-pressure pump due to clearance of the pump and passes into the rail which helps to flush a little bit of system each time the pump runs , you can experience that when you see the connection on top of injector , if its loose Nothing is perfectly sealed , not even the piston rings , they also loose pressure , thats why we have blow-by . Hope i explained it in a way , which is understandable

Suspect parts discussed here. Dealer etc wont want to see car unless CEL/codes. Suspecting Intake/egr valve/antishudder. Any advice how to talk to dealer to do whatever is needed? Kind regards

Sir if you look at it like a reconditioning of the the old engine , then it makes much more sense than a service or a problem . As far as the authorized service centres are concerned , they won't do it in warrenty , untill unless its throwing a code on dash , thats true . Because its not a problem , its a consequence of aging , at the end of the day diesel fuel is a chemical compound and combustion is a chemical reaction and every chemical reaction has an end product , in this case its carbon crust buildup is the end product. So we have to do it ourselves , or get it done by paying someone . Hope i cleared your query 🙂

@@yourDIYneeds Appreciated for sure. maybe someone here could comment on a 'carboning up' scenerio: my car has repeated cel but no DPF warning light. dealer says it's my driving style carboning up the O2 sensors, and repeatedly. threatens to not waranty the diagnostics for the o2 sensor fault scans. (3x p2271). Familiar with "passive regens" concept from googling/tdiclub, but all of those stories go straight to a DPF-warning light (separate to cel)--- stories I found never suggest (what is my case) O2 sensors could carbon up/fault so many times and before one DPF-warning light. **Could dealer be right that the driving style is 'carboning up' the O2 sensors (and multiple times, and never showing separate dpf warning light)? A5/mkv jetta tdi. I consider order EGT guage but thought to ask around about this first. Had mixed results with dealerships before. tdlr, main question is starred. My question a bit out of place here so Ill keep looking.

Sir do you have any kind of mods ? And what are the driving conditions in which you drive ? City traffic or freeway runs Because sometimes if the car is not revving enough in driving then it can cause carbon to build up , usually your vehicles exhaust system is capable of self cleaning but it needs a specific temp. Range to work , in which it can burn the carbon deposits and convert it into fine dust and out of exhaust . My guess , your engine is running rich due to which you have excess fuel in the combustion chamber which intern is decreasing the temp. Of combustion chamber resulting in carbon buildup on O2 sensor . Have you ever tried a fuel system cleaner ? It will help. Hope it helps 👍

@@yourDIYneeds This helped, thank you very much I have no mods, but Ive been using stanadyne performance additive most fillups. Trying avoid further use of additives for time being. Possible my driving style does not sustain exhaust gas temps (EGT) high enough for long enough. Not sure how o2 sensor (p2271) would carbon up multiple times with no dpf warning light though. Currently adjusting driving style for -best guess at- sustained high EGTs . May end up needing guage though. 2 directions of concern are: -guages for continued car use: how to find suitable guages for EGT and soot accumulation (most current options found dont look suitable) -existing accumulations: How to cleaning every place with possible carbon buildup ... suspect intake manif and others.. maybe throttle body, turbo, exh flap, egr valve, anti shudder.. Might end up costing too much🤔 Your comments helpful, yes.👍

Cleaning the complete intake track will definately help and make the engine more peppy and responsive just like new , Installation of aftermarket EGT gauge or sensor is something now everyone will do , because exhaust manifold needs to be drilled and tapped so that the gauge or sensor can sit inside , a drilled manifold of downpipe will disrupt the exhaust flow patterns which can create even another problem , so if you are not very keen on getting one , I would suggest that don't get it installed , Try changing your dring style and rev it properly in each gear and never let the engine lug . And for some time leave stynadine let the system run on fuel alone , and observe if it helps . Because sometimes certain elements in additives can also accelerate the carbon buildup . And you are most welcome sir 🙂

Body to engine ground connection Ye dono connections ko utar ke ,mounting locations ko saaf karke dobara lagane ke baad , ek bar battery ko properly charge kare then wapis laga le And in sabse pehle car ko start karke ek baar battery pe input voltage kya aa rahi hai wo bhi check kare And agar car me amplifier laga hua hai to paracetic drain ki problem bhi ho sakti hai

Hello sir. If i understand correctly, after i replaced/cleaned my intake manifold: -lossen the fuel lines that are further towards the cockpit? -ignition on and off, without turning car on -turn on for 1 min untill i see a little bit fuel leak -turn off and tighten fuel lines

Bro my polo tdi gives hiccups in the morning while driving it at a constant speed and at constant rpm even the rpn needle gets up and down a bit But after running for 10--12 km car becomes smooth

It's a problem which started after the dieselgate software update. , even the VW guys can't figure it out . The best case scenario is to get the intake removed , clean the valves and intake track , MAF , intercooler and then after cleaning and assembling , give anti shudder valve its adaptation . It will reduce .

Sir , I was trying to order proven 200 but the problem I faced was shipping , no dealer was shipping it at my location . So have to source it from some other source , I had already talked about it from a person whine I can trust upon to get the spares from overseas , but he was also in doubt 😅😅 And best way to clean the intake is to remove it , and with help of a good solvent which can desolve the carbon crusting

For fuel bleed just remove pipe runs from high pressure pump to rail and just turn it off and on twice and it will start first time

No no no. Fuel pump must be activated with diagnostics machine. Especially when high pressure lines are removed. To remove air from the system. Damage to injectors if not

Sir turning on the keys has the same effect , And the fuel delivery pump in the tank has around 40 psi of pressure , which is not enough to get through the high pressure pump and to the injectors, so opening just enough to make a controlled leak is the best way
