Very good review covering lot of points. Some points I noticed * The ORVMs do not auto fold while locking and unlocking. But they can and have to only be folded electrically. There is a knob on the door handle. * The rear tail lamp, boot lamp and glovebox lamp are not LED * There are 4 airbags in the highline plus trim. Not 6. * Difference compared to Polo is not only the boot space. Wheelbase is longer in Vento which liberates more legroom in the rear seat. Rear legroom in Polo is very less.

While comparing my travelling experience in my colleagues nonVW vehicles, my vento comfortline diesel driven 2012 model is still really more comfort and smooth, both in highway and rough roads. But the fuel injector problem is there. Whether it is common either in vento only or in all models, I do not know. Also upto 2013 models imported fuel injectors are costlier than domestic injectors suitable for post 2013 models. Service centers blame on contamination in the diesel fuel. Few moths back for the first time I experienced that now days in the service centers, once in 6 months half a liter of a type of particular oil is added in the car diesel fuel tank for keeping fuel in dilute condition. How far it would be effective for my vehicle is to be experienced later. Further Birla's technical review on the root cause and rectification methods in this regard would be helpful. But what I feel is that it would not be an exaagereted one to say that the riding comfort of vento offsets the costlier annual service charge.

How will turbo charger last longer than na engines. Maintenance is obviously higher. We need to use it very carefully idle start and idle only then stop its also given in the vehicle manual how many will notice and follow that.Also new version of vento due this year or next year. What will happen to this old model prices, resale value once the new ones come.I feel they are trying to push out the old stock's

One more tip based on my experience with my vento comfortline model. It will be more helpful not only for vento , Skoda users, but also for other brand Diesel fueled cars too, but designed with electronic filament fitted fuel injectors. Yes car should not be parked idle after filling Diesel fuel to full tank capacity for one full day. Immediately car should run to reduce fuel level. Otherwise at any cause Diesel fuel should not be filled to more than half tank or three fourth tank capacity. So be aware for not filling fuel to full capacity. Other users of WW or other brand car users with similar problems shall share their experiences here , for being updated by others.

Everything is OK.It is a great car to drive.But it is pertinent to note that fuel injector problem and abs problem are to be rectified. If not it will be a flop.

That's German engineering the things which are very important are all covered for ex: rain sensor, rear AC vent. But in our market things are totally different they won't provider basic things but they will give touch screen Sir a small req BGM is little louder so it feels that the video is running faster so pls consider my point.

My vento is 2013 model.. I' bought in 2nd hand (3lakh km).. today I drove little long ..the km what he s saying is exactly true.. I got 13 to 14km max in local ...and highway 17 . Variant changed but still same quality .. superb

As far as service is concerned, you may have to pitch in Rs. 12k to 15k per year (without any complaints), apart from your insurance cost. Regular service maintenance will keep your car in good health.
