Engine wear is more at ignition than idling. Engine will last 10K more kms if you don't on/off regularly. Only works when you are at a signal with timer more than 2 mins.

Hi, Better try to keep distance and move your vehicle slightly then and there. of course, our country road traffic is not a good case for keeping stop/start feature or manual off/on of ignition key :-). this is one of the reason why Birla's Paarvai Genie advices us to stop only if signal lasts more than 2min.

Good explanation. Can you please make a video on effects on engine when driving with higher gear and low speed. I have seen few of them riding their clutch in higher gear to avoid stalling and driving at low speed. Which is not a good idea so please cover this in your content pls.
@niyazahmed48823 жыл бұрын
This is a common mistake by people about the myth of getting good mileage by low speeds and high gears but quick shifting to high gear quickly even at 40km/hr is a bad thing , as the sufficient RPM of the gear is not matched for that low speeds for higher gears and this tends for people to half clutch when they ride like this, this put a lot of pressure on the clutch plate and soon leads to clutch problems. in engine it is more like choking a person and asking them to breath

check car back portion some label will be there like vdi, dci, or dx like that, so those are diesel and other than that you may dont see any d letter in label so its petrol simple, Also diesel engine cc will be higher the number like 1.5cc or 2.5cc so this label you can find on left ir right side of car
@vijayendranvijay45383 жыл бұрын
U can check the tacho also... Usually in petrol cars tacho will have more rpm's(6500) than in a diesel car(5000)... From outside, u can check only by the badges like ddis, crdi, idtec(diesel) and vtvt, vvt, ivtec(petrol)

Thanks for nice video. Bro, why engine rpm increase drastically when suddenly change to lower gear when vehicle at higher speed, what is causing and what happening in mechanism. Engine braking??
@birlasparvai3 жыл бұрын
Will let you know through a video
@niyazahmed48823 жыл бұрын
In a gear box each gear will be sized only to reach certain speeds, for ex- 1st gear - 20-30km, 2nd gear - 30-60, and vice versa. When you are traveling at 60km/hr in 4th gear in 1500rpm and downshift to 2nd gear it reaches its limit, so already the wheels will be spinning in certain rpm, so when you downshift in higher speeds to a lower gears engine rpm,gear rpm and wheel rpm does not match that's why the jolt happens, this is not engine braking. This can be termed as clutch and gear braking, engine braking is only used in buses and trucks, engine braking is done by cutting off the fuel supply to the engine and only 10% of air and fuel is supplied by control valves, this helps to slow the truck or bus but does not stop the ruck or bus as they are heavy and each time they used regular brake it takes more fuel and time to gain the speed again

---------Proved-------- I bought i10 first gen car. I usually fill tank and Check milage and I was not happy because milage I got around 10-11. After watched your video I filled tank and followed what you said. Now I am getting 14-16. What I done mistake: Simply press pedal and I won't see speedometer. In that case usually it will go 90-120 speed which is not Safety. After watching your video . I just seeing rpm meeter and maintained 1000-2500. Now achieved 14-16 km/l. Also I feel safety now because if I maintain rpm less than 2.5 then my speed would be 60-80. Thanks a lot sir.

But one thing we should know, we must use the spray during night hours or while car is not in use for minimum 7 to 8 hours, otherwise you may face fire spark because hit contents alcohol.Dont be panic, it is safe if you give time to evaborate the hit.
