One more reason why dsg gave issues is that people don’t put the gear lever in N position when the car is idle. If the car is idle in traffic jams and dsg lever is in D/S clutch plates are engaged and heats up which results in issues.

Brother I had Vento tdi dsg. I always used to switch to neutral when car is at red light. Still it gave me issue at mere 25k. This dq200 dry clutch unit is not suitable for Indian condition and trust me vw has reduced quality a lot in this new 2.0 platform. Once the car warranty is over then a lot of issue start to come out. Better to sell once the warranty is over or switch to a more peace of mind car Honda city

@@mayankkumar6844 no point in switching to honda city from virtus. Honda is still using a very old engine. Also, my 80 percent run with my car is on highways. I have not purchased this car for city purpose on a day to day basis. I already have a swift for city use. I have also met people who had done more than 1 lakh kilometres with dsg. They have suggested me to switch to N on red signal and using manual mode from gear lever in bumper to bumper traffic.

@@mayankkumar6844 Yes, when it gets out of warranty, then spending on DSG repair is a nightmare. Although there is so many reasons for which DSG failure occurs and we can't avoid it fully, but can minimise it to some extent. When red light is more than 10 seconds then you must shift to n from d mode. I know that very well.

You never need to worry about manual gearbox issues, because they are more reliable than automatic gearbox and need less maintenance

I just completed a 1700km drive in 3 days in Taigun and never felt any discomfort. Used a neck pillow and cushion for back support. Virtus should give similar or more comfort
