It looks as though you removed the front section of the sunroof guide rail, did you also remove the rear section of the guide rail. Do you have any video footage of removing the guide rails as this has been edited from the video. Great video.

Please keep making videos for EOS! There is so little information on this hideous top. One of my roof pillars is now misaligned and hanging loose (can move it left/right) after hearing something pop/crack while closing the top. There is a plastic piece from the roof gate guide rail that broke off, part 1Q0898140C. Is this part difficult to replace? Are there many things to take apart to remove?

Hi Yes it does come with it challenges, we allow 4 hours and make sure to follow the workshop manual

When my roof is about to go into the trunk one arm/side goes lower than the other after making a noise. Would what you did here likely fix that?

I do not. As soon as I heard the noise I quickly put the top back up to avoid causing damage or not being able to put the roof back up. It locked normally and it rained to today zero leaks. It happened when it was 97% about to go into the trunk. The left side is uneven from the right. Looks misaligned only at this step otherwise it goes up straight. Im going to the dealer on Monday. Im not in the UK. Just wondering if it’s even repairable and how much it’s likely to cost.

The code that my scanner pulled is a 03050 - Hydraulic Pump Temperature Sensor on my EOS. This doesn't allow the convertible to go down. Any way I should go about this?

Why was this repair done? I have similar problem where right side pillar is more inward not align to go into trunk. Left pillar is fine/ aligned to enter luggage compartment.

Normally there's a rivet that holds it together which is pressed in, this falls out and jams the whole thing
