This is a video of some gentleish laps of Castle Combe Circuit filmed at the VW Driver magazine track day in July 2011. It was my first visit on track for a couple of years so I was just feeling my way round. Plus the car used was new to me, the trip down being the longest trip I had had in it. In our Volkswizard workshop, we had replaced the tired original suspension and fitted Koni dampers and Eibach springs and anti roll bars. He also fitted new Pagid brakes all round which held up surprisingly well. Tyres are Toyo Proxes T1-R running road pressures and again they performed well. R888s will be ordered for the future. The suspension set up was very good with very little understeer even at the dread Quarry Corner. My only problem is that at 6" tall the Corrado's sunroof shell is a little too tight for me with helmet on.
