Bokuto is so interesting because he isn't one of the many extreme players that have specialties that let them hit 150% in exchange for being volatile, he just has a deep toolkit and lots of experience using it. He's a Swiss army knife with the ability to pinpoint the perfect tool for the occasion, seen especially later in the manga.
@miracle5871 Жыл бұрын
Bro you are talking about Bokuto, he's the most volatile of them all :D (and yea, I know what happens later in manga)
@Calituck6 ай бұрын
Exactly! Like he doesn’t hit the hardest or jump the highest, but his bag is deeper than anyone else’s

Amazing, thank you so much for it, Coach Donny! Bokuto is one of my favorites in the whole series, I vibe with his chaotic friendliness. Still waiting for the "Oikawa's techniques" video (especially THAT serve 👀)
@vailingbow10682 жыл бұрын
Those shots that counted, those look amazing! Especially that seam kill! Coach Donny looks hella creepy with the stare down for the feints XD but I'd say they're pretty accurate! As for other techniques from Bokuto, unfortunately the anime hasn't caught up to them yet. Especially Bokuto's receive XD

A great effort for Bokuto's techniques! Glad to know both you and Kai are not quite as "simple-minded" as Bokuto! 🤣🤣🤣 I think it's the fact he's an airhead about everything else other than volleyball that gives him such laser focus. Would have been fun watching you guys try to imitate one of his "emo" moments for the shots that didn't quite work. Bokuto is such a loveable HAM!

I tried the wrist away technique today in a game and it is very very useful, particularly when I hit at the right side. It solved my problem of weak line shot at the right side. But I worry about hurting my arm or shoulder using this too much.

Even pros have harder time hitting perfect line and cross. That shows how hard hitters work to get them to perfection.

The attempts at the smug look at the end of the feint absolutely killed me 😂 I watched the Noya video first, didn't think it could get any better then almost died when I saw you'd done a Bokuto video as Bokuto will always be my #1. I feel like you need to commit more to the hey hey hey tho lmao Loveeeee these videos! Looking forward to seeing what other characters you do. I feel like if Oikawa isn't on the list then you def have to do him, or Miya Atsumu!

Coach Donny if you are planning on doing an oikawa's techniques video then here is a quick step review of oikawa's jump serve so first you start up with a far toss then you start doing like a similar to a sonic like run then you do a huge broad jump then hit the ball

Off topic i was always good for my age at volleyball but we didnt have any teams/training sessions nothing so i went with basketball i trained myself for nearly 6 years got my first dunk at 5'8 so thats where i got my jumping from and i just hag good recives sets and spikes from a young age im now 15 5'10 a outside spiker playing with adults aka upper intermediate as a outside hitter and i even played as a ace for a while and only been playing competitively for around 6 months and only lost 1 game while i have won a tournament

have you done MadDog's super Cross ? or some of the hard dives (Daichi's dive in Shiratorizawa match point, Hinata's block touch to diving receive in Wakunan Match) or some of the crazy Sets (One hand back set quick Kageyama to Hinata, Miya Twin set where he runs in to the front court but still gets underr the ball to back set to weak side, the first receive set to fake spike to set to power)

Bokuto's technique seems to be him jumping whilst facing the net compared to opening up to the setter. No wonder he hits perfect lines shots.
@sashimisushii6375 ай бұрын
do you think opening up to the setter is a lot better for your shoulder health? my shoulder hurts a lot, i wanna learn the proper technique
@azriazhar62885 ай бұрын
@@sashimisushii637 well the best way is to open up your shoulder for stronger power and good control of the ball. For shoulders that are damaged or injured. I recommend you do shoulder exercises using resistance bands and do spike motions slowly until you have good enough shoulder strength to swing harder. There are alots of tutorial on how to get a stronger and proper form so you wouldnthurt your shoulder. There is only so much i say by text. But overall, opening up your shoulder towards the setter is the best way to spike for power and control. Hope it helps
