i'm from malaysia.. i think MANGANANG is x factor for indonesia team. we can seen i this game vietnam can beat them with full of spirit and control of the game. you can't just depend on 1 person on this game. this is strategies and teamwork game. vietnam use all effort to beat indonesia. their are good in court control and covering. the factor of winning of the game is team spirit and teamwork.. just do your part.

i'm from Philippines and just like any other pinay fans, i was sad for our team's loss w/ indonesia but i don't think it is right to throw bad words and thrash talk April Manganang. If she were allowed by the the Sea games committees incharge and even FIVB, who are we to question? Maybe it's ok to ask ourselves and react if she's really a female but to humiliate her, judge her by her looks and built and throwing names at her is something "not good" to do when all she do is play for her team and for her country. Please think of how she will feel and how much it will hurt her families back in indonesia. Let's all be a good sport. I'm sure you wouldn't like to experience it also if you were in her shoes. God bless us all.

It just so happened that she plays in a national team. Never ever judge a person by his/her look. Let us not take her right of playing a sport she love or her pride of representing her country based on what we believe which is merely based on what we see with our eyes.
