still can’t get over how japan managed to pull off a reverse sweep against france. when they won the first two sets, i had already expected another upset but still kept my hopes up for the third set. at that point, everything became intense. congrats, ryujin nippon!

Of course, this match was won by the quality of the players, but the atmosphere in the stadium helped the Japanese team greatly. I was watching on TV and the cheering from the crowd was incredible!

They gained momentum from the consecutive points of Yuki in the third set but the cheers from the crowd really motivated them even more to do better and extend the match to five sets. Kento's performance in the fifth set is no other. Also, like what we always say, In Ishikawa, we trust! Haha but of course all of them did a huge contribution to make that comeback from 2 set to nil. Again, Congratulations, Japan! 🇯🇵💗

Incredible performance from both team, but Japan has proofen once again why they are one of the world's best. Keeping cool head even when losing the first 2 sets, Ran is not playing, and Nishida has to be replaced in the middle of the game. Every player played such a good role, but ishikawa and sekita never failed to amaze me.

Thats what Ishikawa does best, pulling the team together in hopeless moments and rising from it. Otsuka filling in for Ran is simply amazing, few attacks but covers really really well. So as Miyaura, he has been a nightmare to France team since VNL 2023 replacing Nishida in both games. I hope all their efforts materializes in the Olympics! Still rooting for Ryujin Nippon even on their off games and injuries in between 🤗

great match ,Ishikawa is the best Japanese player ever ,hands down,France played well in a balanced frothy match. The spectators were backing Japan and i think that helped too. Even thought the olympics are in Paris in july i don t think France is going to win. Poland and Italy have the odds on their side for me but everythink is possible.really nice match congratulations to Japan and France.Ishikawa really had his heyday, and Myiura was shining.
