Just wow! These are some of my favorite colors, blue with a little green, and so very well done. I agree with your comment about blending it in with the top, (Skyliner on the Ford and Sun Valley on Mercury - plexiglass I believe). The 55 was always one of my favorite Fords of the 50s, with the 59. Top 2. Again, those colors. A very well dressed up car and with drivability too. How can one go wrong...except not having the money!

What a beautiful mid 50s icon! I've always loved the 55-56 Crown Vics anyway, and this one is the sharpest I've ever seen. Beautiful colors, and the chrome brings this car's full beauty out ... Another one that appears perfect as it turns! Absolutely straight panels. Another perfect one for Volo! Well shown and described! Thank you! P.S. In my opinion, very reasonably priced as well ....

If it's got a round radio it's a classic and the wide chrome over the top

Funny how the name Crown Victoria seems much more in deference to Canada than the good old USA. The Crown and Victoria Day brought together in a name. 🙂

This car wound up in our shop with the dealer tags still on it. So I was curious to see where it came from. The front end is shot. Steering is waaaaay off. Tire rims are bent. Once on the brake lift to take a look. There is no way to remove the oil filter without removing the steering linkage. It's pretty but it's got issues.

I feel bad for the old timer who bought it. Its gonna cost him at least 2k to fix the front end.

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CARS BUT THE [Y] BLOCK ENGINE IS TERRIBLE AND THEY DO NOT LAST LONG.
@shicoff13983 жыл бұрын
We had one new in 1955 Merc. 292 Y Block till 1960, with 60,000 miles on it when traded in and it was fine, but we changed the oil on time, they had poor oil to the rockers, and if you let it go too long they would take a dump in 50,000 miles, other wise they where fine with a strong low end. My dad had a new nail head Buick V8 once that threw a rod in 24,000 careful miles, so you always can get a bad one even in a Buick.
