Quite possibly one of the most beautiful Edsels I've ever seen! This is the respect that Edsel cars deserve. Wonderful video presentation of a 50's beauty icon!

Another great piece of automotive history, and a beautiful one at that! Very rare car. I remember as a youndster seeing these on the road daily ..... however, thus is the first one I've seen in years. Beautifully restored, and as Mr. Grams said, likely better fit and finish that when new. Perfect car for that collector who wants perfection. This one was meticulously done! Thnx for sharing!

Wow....now this is A Beautiful Restoration! That Underbody looks like it just rolled off the Assembly Line 64 days ago, not 64 years ago!! The only thing missing on this Beauty is Air Conditioning!! This is an Awesome Collector Car!!!

What most people don't know is that FoMoCo required a separate dealer network. Edsel dealers typically had a separate showroom. Edsel was an intermediate step to a Lincoln. You hear the initials FE often when referring to Ford engines. Example: 427 FE motor. That was short for Ford, Edsel. In other words, the engine platform was Ford and Edsel, not Lincoln.

Why does an old fashioned ice cream parlor from the 50's come to mind when I look at this car? Maybe American Graffiti? Love those old horse collar grills.....unique even for it's day. Dad had an Edsel wagon in the early 60's .....used bought from my Uncle. Lots of problems with that car. Did not have it too long.

In that era, people used to classify this car as the ugliest ever compared to others, but I see it with a distinct design and different from others, beautiful and sparkling.

The only car where your hands stay safely at the wheel. If you can flick a light switch you can shift the Edsel. You’ve likely never experienced a car that gives you more usable torque for your driving experience. So see your Edsel dealer today and inspect for yourself what Edsel can do for you and set you above the look alike cars .

Beautiful car. With the Edsel reliability, I’m surprised it moved out of the garage.
@bryanmclellan85462 жыл бұрын
The Edsel had NO reliability problems. It didn't sell well but reliability was definitely not an issue. Beautiful example.

the hub caps i don't think are the factory ones that came with the car .The factory ones all had the spinner spear lined up with the wheel air tire stem these do not. I think ford did sell these in this configuration at the dealership as a add on for customers that wanted them .
