A true Muscle Car from the 1960's. The largest Engine in the least expensive body.
@johncornell366511 ай бұрын
My favorite cars are the 65 to 70 full size Chevys. And 427 , 4 speed, rallye wheels and red stripe tires. What a gorgeous car. You made my day. Thanks so much, Jay! PS you should tell Caleb to let the car idle instead of reving it so much. When it has a cam like that, let it idle. Not being critical, but I think most people would agree

And you don’t put it in neutral and ride the clutch coming to a stop lol.
@johncornell366511 ай бұрын
@@gh4121-b5n no its nice if you gear down when approaching a stop. But thats just me
@randallray78643 ай бұрын
Neutral and use the brakes. Race school guy explained it as don't downshift for a light or stop, use the consumable cheap part, the pads and shoes, not an expensive part like the clutch and engine.

Ii don't think I can come up with enough adjectives for this beauty. I have always wanted a 67,68, or 69. Purely awesome.

First a Biscayne, then 427, 4 spd. Add factory a/c, wow, a rare car. Worth every penny
@livingexample532211 ай бұрын
I would love to have this even if it was just in fair shape. Probably the best black paint job I've ever seen on one of my favorites. This was a rare ride even in 1967.

Absolute epitome of a real 60s sleeper. Perfectly optioned in, out. I've loved the 396s and 427s since their intro. I got to ride in a 427 Vette, and these engines will do the job. This car will be gone in days Great find. Kudos to its next new owner.

That is one beautiful & badass '67 Biscayne! I'd easily choose this car over a '67 Impala SS or SS 427. From a powertrain & chassis perspective this is identical to an SS 427 only in a plain-jane (and arguably a more sinister looking) wrapper. What an awesome bowtie, Jay! BTW - for some reason I've always preferred the taillights on the 67 Biscayne over the Impala, and I really like that the "Biscuit" doesn't have all the gingerbread trim pieces you'd find on the Impala or Caprice. But, whoever ordered this car new wanted to go fast inconspicuously, yet ordered some options you'd normally find on an SS 427 or even the Caprice. Way cool!

My dad had one of these back in the day. It was an auto though. He had built up the 427 quite a bit in the early 70s and street raced the hell out of it. If anyone knows of a silver 67 427 in Wisconsin that may still have the trantula intake, headers, large cam, etc it's probably his old one.

My father ordered one in 67, just for racing. Biscayne ,427 with a 4. In Tuxedo black. At first I wondered if this might had been his. Until you said factory air. Nope. He said back then they called them BisQuicks! God, I wish he'd kept it.😢

The Biscayne was the lowest priced full size car that could be purchased from GM. Most of them went to fleets… taxis and police cars. These rare ones with a factory 4-speed and 427 were optioned for drag racing and purists would even order them with radio and heater deleted and rubber versus carpeted floors… anything to reduce weight. This example never looked this good from the factory.

It's like a 65 Buick Riviera and 66 Chevelle had a love-child! At 05:46, as soon as you finish saying, visor and mirror, freeze the frame. Look at the top of the drivers door frame. There is a space of chipped paint and slight rust. Do you see it?
