I had 55 Belair with a post.It had all chrome options available.It a 265 cu in V8 with unusual 3 spd on column with an overdrive.

Very desirable car that is probably the most recognizable hot rod that started the whole movement, this one is very tastefully done, not to much customizetion but enough in the right places, awesome stance and wheels another grand slam for Jay's continued streek.

No doubt one of, if not the nicest 55 BelAirs I've seen. One of Chevys most popular cars ever sold. In my opinion, with the 55-56-57-58 models, Chevy hit it out of the park. Great colors with this one, and very well finished out .... The interior?? I'm sure it would grow on one. Very unique to say the least. With each car you bring for viewing, I try to guess the prices, and I'm honestly shocked with this one, thinking around 10k higher ..... What a pleasant surprise!! Well shown and explained as always ...l Summary, a great 55 at a fantastic price. Someone is getting a gem here!! P.S. I noticed in an earlier post that someone wished you a happy birthday ..... If so, Happy and Blessed Birthday wishes to you sir!!

Among the Tri-Fives, the '55 is the best looking. Especially the '55 Nomad, with its larger rear wheel wells. Ideal for street rodders.

In 55 it was "Harvest Gold" in 56 it was "Calypso Cream." I have a 57 that is "Onyx over COLONIAL Cream".. Identical in color, on a 57 its paint code 800. Funny how the exact same color had 3 different names in 3 years.

I love the interior color I love the exterior color BUT….those two colors (yellow and turquoise) are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! 🤮

Ha! I agree but disagree. I think that this combination SHOULD be terrible together, but for me, and I'm sure many others, it somehow works. It shouldn't work, but it works. Come back next week and watch this again, see if it hasn't grown on you. Lol

I didn't like the Turquoise door panel color. Yellow, black but not Turquoise. Too much contrast.
