Volos has terrible climate. Weather in July, August and partialy September is unbearable. Hot and humid - the worst are streets near the port. Visit in early morning hours and run away. Pelion is great (both coasts) but Volos does not impress at all.

Thank you for your comment! It's true that Volos, like many parts of Greece, can be hot and humid in the summer. However, Volos offers much more than just its summer climate. The promenade is perfect for morning and evening walks, and there's a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, and cultural experiences to enjoy. While Pelion is indeed beautiful, I believe Volos has its own charm that can be appreciated if you explore beyond the midday heat. 😊
