Nice detailed Review series. Ive seen 2 or 3 and Liked too. 1 Question+ if mostly the clothes come out wrinkled, would the Bosch not be a better choice today. More so bcos in mid 2023, availability of this model is also doubtful. I don't want to sit ironing clothes after this. Thanks

The dryer independently weighs 46 kgs. The weight of the washing machine will vary as per your model / particular machine. Mine weighs around 60-62 kgs.

Do u suggest keeping this clothes dryer indoors or outside (balcony)? Does this have exhaust pipe also which needs to throw air/dust outside?

It can be kept indoors as it does not have any exhaust pipe.

Hello, Nice review !!! I have few questions. 1. How much noise it creates? Is it more than washing machine? 2. Does dryer require a steady surface? As you have placed it on top of washing machine that runs 800/1000 rpm, will it create any issues in long run considering constant movement of entire machine. 3. How much was the cost of machine?

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. 1. It does not have much noise. Much less than my washing machine. The only sound ( faint beep) is when it stops. 2. A steady surface is a plus. However it does not move on it own so, it does not change its place when it is working. My washing machine used to move a lot, but I fixed it by proper leveling on ground. It still shakes when spinning. But that has not affected the dryer so far. Infact, neither has moved from its place. 3. When I got it ( from tata cliq) it was under some sale so was much cheaper around 28k. Hope this helps.

It is optional. It has a container that can collect water. This needs to be emptied after every cycle. Or you can use the drain outlet pipe. We use drain pipe.

I would not trust that smart plug because it is incapable of measuring RMS current. The device you want to use instead is made by Meco and there are two models either 6A or 16A depending on your requirement. Meco energy meter. These are more accurate and DO measure RMS. There is no smart app so you will have to read the figures off the meter.

Hi, I am unable to find this model. Chroma store even said Voltas discontinued it:(. I am thinking to purchase the IFB dryer but it takes 4 units per run while yours takes 1 unit only.. IFB costs 21k and gives 4 years warranty. Do you think I am making the right decision?

Hello Krishna, IFB dryer that I can see online is of 5 kg, that is too less for a family. Maybe good for bachelors. Also, most of the reviews are not very positive. I would suggest Bosch over IFB. Yes, cost is higher. Hope this helps.

Dude chill I guess only TN folks can't understand even these basic Hindi words.
