As a kid, I cheer for the heroes who keeps the world safe from the Bozanians. As an adult, I finally understood what Prinze Heinel was going through. The deception, the manipulation and the pressure of meeting expectations not knowing that he was just being used.

The worst thing is that it eventually stops just being them, you start to do it to yourself too, and end up sacrificing so much in the process. And you realise, after you lost so much, that it was all for the wrong ends.

Tragic villain if only he had a better redemptive arc than just dying for family like living and did things to rehabilitate Boazania.

During 80 - 90 it was aired in the Philippines . . . . They changed the names of the characters . . . . Now they remake it for the "nostalgic experience" 😅 so they followed what the former viewers were accustomed of

They followed the names that was used when it was first aired in the Philippines. Since Philippines was not used on prounouncing japanese names the dubbing company and translators decided to just change their names into English/western ones though personally i think katharine and Heinell's name doesn't need to be change cause those are western names already.

“Zardoz” was the name of a 1970’s science fiction movie with Sean Connery after his James Bond days, and the Filipino dubbers used it for Prince Heinel. All middle-aged Filipinos like me think of Voltes V and this character when we hear the name “Zardoz”
