I’m 46 and used to watch this show religiously as a kid!! That’s how much I love this cartoon!!!! I’m still waiting for the day when it is FINALLY made into a live action movie that I can watch with my grandbabies!!!! They tried with the Power Rangers and in my eyes failed miserably 😞!!! Originally there were supposed to be 3 Voltrons one was supposed to guard the near universe, the second was the guardian of the mid universe, and the third was the guardian of the far universe but they only ended up using two instead.

I love Voltron, but this video is a mix clips from many movies, and many CGI created characters and equipment, there's not much on the Live Action side. Then the Lotar escaping? From where, plus the "10 years" remark???

The premise of the fan trailer was that Henry Cavill would be cast as Keith, which means that the movie is likely to be set in the future, as Henry Cavill would look too old to be Keith's age as a late teen in the original series. Therefore Voltron defeating Zarkon 10 years ago, while Lotor escaped, providing a villain for this movie. This hinges on Cavill being cast as Keith. He could very well be cast as Zarkon or even Lotor.
