Epic! I'm guessing this March was composed by Spaniards?

Teodoro Villapol's "Himno á los Voluntarios", later known as "Voluntarios ¡Viva España!" was a Patriotic song created for the Battalions of Loyal Volunteers of the Philippines in 1896, during the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution. The original lyrics is pro-Spanish and calls for the singer to shout "Viva España!" and to defend Spain until death. The song proved so popular that even the Filipino Revolutionaries adapted it as their own patriotic song, changing the lyrics so that it speaks about the sentiments of the Revolution, and not Spain. Many versions of the lyrics were made, with the most popular one being "Alerta Katipunan."
