It definitely does! Between the cam and biggish turbo it’s in the money from 4-7k+

@@slo8681 it really depends on the cam, some turbo redblocks on gutless cams run out of steam at about 4.5k rpm

That’s funny I had someone at a car show this year ask me if it was swapped, I’d never heard that comment before but I get it!

thats so awesome! did you needed to make relieve cut-outs on your pistons for this type of camshaft movement?
@stiggypop110 ай бұрын
thanks! not required to make cuts although it is definitely an interference engine now if the timing belt broke. I confirmed there is ample piston to valve clearance when timed to spec.

@@TheEbrunet alright man, sick, cause I just bought an 85' 245 m46 manual, and I know it's not an 89-90, but I figured id turbo, cam, fuel, ecu swap and ARP stud head bolt the entire head. Know anyone who makes an 8v cam for turbo builds?
@davidsny11908 ай бұрын
You could use the factory t cam or ipd makes a turbo cam. I've heard of people using a and b and v cams and especially k cams. @@AdamChase-t8r
