Volvo 740 turbo t04e distributor went bad while working on the car

So I thought my timing was out, made a few adjustments and the distributor went bad on me

Hi! What were the first symptoms? Knocking while accelerating? Bad starting (you don't start completely), bad idle? Thank you. T.

@@kishmick misfire then no start... easy to check at the wire and plug while cranking

@@kishmick these over the years become oil soaked and the wiring becomes weak.. also while servicing the wires can be easily damaged installing the cap if its worn
