On my XC70 I use a cheap Bluetooth adaptor powered by the USB port, the audio routed through to the AUX jack. The solution works great except the adaptor has a "PAIRING" button which needs to be briefly pressed. My XC70 can also use a USB memory stick or iPod/iPhone via the USB port. The car does have Bluetooth connection to the phone for phone use as standard.... perhaps a difference in specification.

So kinetic versions aren’t the best for audio 😅. Even the sound quality is “poor” compared to my 2004 V70
