Hi, jist watching different Volvo guides to get an idea about connecting the power. Does it mean that clap needs to cut through the wire ? If so, when i remove the unit, i will lose the power for the whole unit ?

Got my unit today, it works for music both from my phone or SD card but will not work for calls, my phone only shows earphone symbol but not headset so calls not working, please help. Mine is also 08 single cd unit

Hi guys, just got the Mr12volt P600. When it works it makes me happy, but I have an issue with Volvo v50 2006 1cd player. When my phone connects to the P600 through Bluetooth it often does not switch to the P600, How can I switch between the CD player and the P600 signal? I need to restart the car power 2/3 times until it recognize the P600 signal. This is probably not the right way.

If you got the same unit that I did there was no single CD DIP switch settings for the V50. I sent an email and they sent me updated firmware. There's another video on how to install the firmware. Installing the kit today.

@@JFinch57 Did it end up working reliably with your early model single CD unit once you updated the firmware? It's this unit or the GROM for my 05 V50, and this unit is way easier on the pocket book.

@@ETR2k3 The firmware upgrade requires a mini SD card, and I only had a 64GB. It wouldn't update, maybe because the size of the card, so I emailed support. After several emails and also trying to contact them through eBay messages (where I bought it) there was no response. I initiated a charge-back and Mr. 12V never responded so I got it for free. I have yet to purchase a smaller card and try the update. There is a video on their site I think, and it's supposed to be fast and simple.
