I bought a 2006 C 70 over a year ago with 64k miles. I put 6k on it since I have other cars. I never owned a Volvo in the past but really enjoy the top down cruising in Florida. great get up and go and 25 mpg. Who could complain about that.

I heave the 2009 C70 SE LUX, 2.1i. Mot, fuel, service that’s all you need to keep going. My third Volvo, no mucking about, reliability good safe drive all the time. Non of this in & out of the garage with this n that going wrong. Had this one now 10 years September gone, my last S60 I had for 14 years, & still had plenty of life in it.

I love my C70, so much so I shipped it from Scotland to Cyprus when we moved. Gets so much admiration and comments as only maybe another 2 on the whole island and one is an older model (mines 2011) Nightmare for parts though. Tyre place never refitted the boot carpet after a blow out and when discovering this months later (car seldom used due to husbands company car) contacted tyre centre who do nt have it 🤔 Trying everything to scource and ship one to Cyprus😢

I am not agree with him refering to the boot space. Even with the roof down, you can put two big bags into, and with the roof up, the boot space increase a lot.

I've had my silver Volvo c70 for 6 years. Have put about 85k on it. It still looks and drives like new, gets tons of complements, and is a whole lot of fun. I wish I could drive it another 85k, it's been my dream car in every way. May turn it in in the coming years for the new Audi a or s5 convertible. We shall see. Def go for it, you'll love it!

@@ny2bama Nah, manual C70s were too much effort for me to track down and buy when they couldn't promise reliability (clutch failure was endemic to the model), so I bought an IS 350C instead.

You're talking about the 2.0 diesel, of course that's going to be slower than a 2.4 litre 5 cylinder petrol lol. Try the D5, 10 bhp more than the 2.4 petrol & a heck of a lot more torque, along with significantly better fuel economy ;-)

i think 7 months is enough to buy a car, so it's for other users: 2.4 is better in terms of cost and maintance, 2.5 is more powerfull, less fuel efficient and you have to worry about the turbo.
