Watching this video again after taking delivery of my XC40 full EV. Ordered in early 2022 and received end of Dec. Of course, I got the 2023 model and surprise! They added on the protection items and charged me over $600 cdn for it. For mats!!!! Inferior mats for a true Canadian winter, in my opinion. The dealer said that all 2023 in my trim level come with that pkg now and they could not remove the charge or the items. I was pretty angry as I had already purchased tuxmats here in Canada - started off the delivery with a negative feeling, unfortunately.

Got my C40 in january, and I REALLY enjoy it! We had a few days with temperatures below -30 and while the range was significantly lower I really did appreciate sitting in a warm car in the morning while most of my neighbours were trying to remove ice from the windshield. This is my first Volvo, had an Audi before : Absolutely no regrets!

East UK daytime temp was 0c or below for 2 weeks. Only got 190miles on a 90% charge.

Are these features on the core c40 or only the max spec?

Has the offroad mode in electric c40 been downgraded from 50kmh to 30kmh? Even 50kmh in my "old" xc40 recharge was little too limited for some winter fun. 70kmh or more would have been prefered :)

It goes until max 40kmh/25pmh. If you exceed that it will go into the usual driving mode. So pretty slow still.. ;-)
