Great rebuild looks awesome. Currently working on the same engine. Question, what is the normal operating temp for this engine? I changed the thermostats and Its currently running at around 160F.

Hello John, 160F is about 70°Celsius. This seems pretty good to me. I don't know the exact temperature of my engine running but for an marine engine this seems to be right.

I have the same engine and after taking cylinder head off I’m not sure how to re-time the engine and make sure my pistons don’t touch the valves. Is there any links you could post?
