Great job thank you I learned a lot. My only concern is the cracked fiberglass on your engine mount stringers. I hope water isn't getting in there. Always something on a boat.

Thanks. Yeah, they've since been repaired. No wood damage, just the fiberglass.

Around 8:52 you start talking about the bearing and the whine. I believe I am experiencing that issue. What is the part name or what do I search for when looking for a replacement? Thanks!

Thank you for an outstanding video. I just recently bought a 2002 CC with the Volvo Penta 4.3 osi fuel injected engine. Curious as to which NGK plugs you would recommend. Also since I’m not sure when the impeller was last changed and the fact I turned the key briefly to hear the engine crank while the boat was out of the water and dry, would you recommend I replace it?

terry mise thank you for subscribing to my channel. I use plain copper plugs, nothing special that I picked up at my dealership. I would definitely recommend changing the impeller.

you don't need to replace is soley because you cranked the engine...if it hasn't been replace or you don't know when it was last replaced, it would be advisable

Awesome video I just took my 4.3 apart and it was very easy . Just curious I didn’t take the two hoses off the pump for winterization the boat sat in a warm garage so I wasn’t to concerned. I do see alittle bit of rust on the inside around the shaft no noises or anything when I spin it . Should I do anything to get the small amount of rust of or just put it back together ?

Aqua Marine Deck, we made the template ourselves and installed ourselves.

I dont. I remove the cushions, then the long feont cushion is screw in from under the front lip. Then remove the carpeted piece. Then the front fiberglass piece. The back comes out last.

Thank you for the reply, I got to the point that I was going to remove "the carpeted piece" that you mentioned. However, I did not want to force it off. There are 7 screws with upholstery washers that seem to hold this carpeted piece down, but it just wouldn't break free at the center of the boat above the kick board. I never could get to what was holding the "front fiberglass piece" to the bench (below the carpeted piece). BTW, it is this front fiberglass piece that is preventing me from lifting the whole bench out. This fiberglass front piece will not clear the side mounted padding......?? @@MarkoRamius-yq9gv Thank you Marko! I figured out the problem, there was a screw below the carpet on the "carpeted piece" going down in to the fiberglass kick plate. The screw was concealed, so I carved a piece of the carpet to find it........took that one screw out and it came apart just like you said.....THANK YOU SOO MUCH! Must have been a factory "tack" they forgot to remove.

does your engine have the screw in or paper catridge? i have a volvo penta 320 hp 5.7 Model V8-320-C-B in a 2015 chaparral sunesta boat and for the life of me I cant find where the oil filter is. lol Any ideas?

on the port side of the engine, in front of the exhaust manifold, there is a red housing with a hex on top, open that up and the filter is inside.
