This is the most common problem when you lose your sound from turn signals and low air warning sound. There is a small speaker behind the cluster that needs to be replaced. Not to hard to do.

Thanks! It worked for me. I put electrical tape over the old speaker case to keep the new speaker from shorting out. It's been years since my truck's dash has made any sound.

Thanks for this video vlad! My speaker went bad and this fixed it. Was super easy. Only one thing that I'd add is my old speaker had a metal screen on it that i had to yank off with needle nose pliers. with the screen on it it was shorting out the connectors on the new speaker.

Thank you- recommendation for doing this is use the smallest gauge wire possibly. 16g is too large and pulls too much current. I used 20g speaker wire an it worked perfectly. Wire should be similar to the thickness of a paperclip for this to work properly. Otherwise the orange display will flicker an speaker will not work. Ty for the easy fix.

Worked like a dream, I was going to cut the at least one of the contacts to prevent excess resistance, but when I removed the back cover my speaker had a metal screen on it, I decided to remove it and under was the junk speaker cone and coil came with it, so problem solved. As all that remained was the original magnet.

I replaced the speaker and still nothing. When i use my multimeter on the speaker it shows0.005 and i know its working it is brand new speaker, but on the from brackets right under the solded area it shows 1.100. What could be the issue ?

Vlad, do you remember the supposed ohms of the original speaker?

The Hoss not sure, but 8 ohms seems to be correct. If you put 4 ohms it might overload the amplifier but 16 ohm will be to quit. Hope that helps. Thanks

+Synergy Express Inc could be a faulty speaker. Make sure it's .5 watts and 8ohms, anything else might not work.
