Miloše it is nice that people post videos about things getting done and saving money on working on a big trucks. I just got to tell you one thing actually couple things taking the panel on the right hand side was unnecessary you didn't have to do that there are four screws that hold instrument cluster, you remove those and it gives you the access to all the hoses in the dash. Another thing you can rebuild your valve yourself because ,You ,as I can see can do things yourself ,if you had gone to Ace Hardware and purchased orings and rebuilt it yourself it would have cost you about $9 instead of buying the valve because there's nothing on that valve that can break except a little orings. And then all the push in quick connectors while You are at it, I suggest you replace with the copper compression ones so you don't have problems in the future that's another 12 bucks. Just a suggestion cuz I actually done this yesterday on my truck now I was searching KZbin on how to change brake Chambers on the trailer and your video came up I am same as you I like to help others fix their stuff and save money. Stay safe

I have a high-pitched noise coming from under my dash when I pull my parking brake on it goes off, but it sounds like it’s coming from somewhere lower the dash any thoughts?
@318sears84 жыл бұрын
Hey man as my air pressure building up I hear air leaking from behind the valve I pulled the valve out with taking off the lines and felt air coming from the valve its self not the airlines.. then my rear dash gauge will not build pressure the from is reading 120psi rear at 0 so my stop triangle light will not go off. What u think man?
@milosstokic154 жыл бұрын
In my experience air valve is always leaking air when there is a leak somewhere in the rear system (trailer) Now if there is leak coming out of valve and red valve is still applied, then maybe valve needs to be replaced... but I’m not sure how to fix your problem. If u give me (us) more details on symptoms maybe we can figure it out?!?!
@318sears84 жыл бұрын
@@milosstokic15 my primary gauge on the dash reading 120 psi but the secondary gauge ( rear ) doesn't read at all and the red light with triangle around it will not go off. When I first start up the truck I hear air leaking from back of the push buttons then after about 20 seconds it will stop but rear tank gauge will not read I hope that helps

Great video, i have a problem with that valve. This freakin valve is making the stop light with a buzzer sound come on . Thanks 🙏🏼 for posting this video. Keep those videos coming. Hopefully Volvo or dealers don’t come after you . But you save me tons of money that these tricky sons of B want from me. Not to mention that they will keep your truck for a week or two, we been tricked. Keep the videos going my friend

My question for this video is what was the purpose of you change the valves what was the issue I will like to know because I have an issue with a main valve leaking that might be the parking and Emergency brake ?
@milosstokic155 жыл бұрын
If main valve is leaking most of the time leak is somewhere on the trailer... I hade to change mine bcos it would not pop up after pressure drops below 40/30/25psi, even after i would drain tanks completely, they would not pop-up. I suspect on mixture on moist, dirt, dust. There could be something else i could've done but this was fastest and most efficient. 2 years later, everything still works great!

Great video!!! Hey brother, I m just having this issue on my ‘10 Volvo VNL. While I’m driving on highway, the stop triangle with the buzzer comes up, sometimes it stays sometimes goes right away. Would this dash valve replacement help, or should I check for sth else? Thanks!!!
@milosstokic154 жыл бұрын
Thanks I would say it’s something else, probably in dash board where air pressure gauges are, sensors, buzzer speaker. Air valves are simple system with-out electric sensors... Good luck brother

my 780 secondary won't charge over approx 75 psi. then drains to 60 in about 10 mins.(primary is at 100).Do you have any suggestions as to why?
@milosstokic157 жыл бұрын
could be a lot of moist stuck in tank, system... How often do u drain you tank's? Do you do a lot of hook and drop loads, i heard you can pollute truck system from poorly maintened trailers (possibly, don't take my word for it)? Also one of lines getting in and out of that tank could be damaged so u are experiancing air leak (soapy water can held discovering that) Give us more information: does it stay at 60psi or it keeps dropping but slowly, how is tank holding on while driving , braking, after u build pressure and shut off engine, does it happen in bob-tail mode only, trailer mode only?

What was the problem? How did you know it was the valve that was bad?
@milosstokic157 жыл бұрын
Brian Hill - When I was doing spring break test, keep pressing the pedal airdrops below 50 - 40 - 20 but they were not popping up on there own, If i just hit them with the finger (nail) they would! I guess mechanism got dirt inside or who knows what. Basically it wasn't good enough for DOT inspection...

Good video!But I kinda disagree with you on what you said- " if make money, make sense". A drug dealer makes money also, but on other people and families expenses. Money is not everything. On the contrary, "the love for money, is the root of all evil"... but thanks for the video.

It’s just an old saying. “If it makes money, it makes sense (cents, as in money haha).” I hope you get it now, don’t overthink it.

U remained too cool doing this. Let's be honest, tractor manufacturers have made trucks too luxurious & not easily fixed thus taking to a "specialist" who's "trained" & still the plastic is always broken & the repair is costly due to hourly rates. I'd like to see a company organize to create a truck that's for work NOT comfort/style inside but more for durability & part accessibility by any shade tree mechanic
@milosstokic157 жыл бұрын
That would be something something, but i don't see that day coming ever again! Damn manufactures realized that one truck/car like that is sold only once, but when u make something sort of good but in the same time selectively weaker and cheep in specific spots they make fortune on spare parts and repairs... Makes me sick but in the same time we all cherish capitalistic way of living...
