How do you remove it initially from the truck?
@axeslinger372 жыл бұрын
How do you get it out please.🙏

First you have to remove the plastic cover around the climate control use a flathead screwdriver then You have to remove the torx 25 screws around there. Once you remove those screws you will release the climate control. Thanks for watching.

Hello. I just got a 2023 Volvo 860. It has only 5,000 miles. After a few days of driving, I receive an error on the dash that says “Missing Communication From Climate Control ECU”. The knobs doesn’t work at all. I have taken it to two Volvo mechanics and they told me it’s fixed but it’s not fixed (maybe they lied and never tried to fix it). Maybe you can help me to understand. The defrost is also not working and I can’t pass a DOT inspection because of that.

Usually this kind of problem is relate it to four causes: 1. There is a burned fuse that provides power to climate control unit. 2. Climate control unit is damaged or faulty. 3. Reprogramming for the climate control unit is required. 4. There is a wiring problem between the climate control unit and the other ECU’s. For the amount of miles in your vehicle, I suggest you to take to nearest dealership so they can take a look it should be cover under warranty. I hope this information helps and it is my personal opinion. Thanks for watching.

@@LetstalkDIESEL UPDATE: I went to Volvo and they gave me my keys this morning after I left it over the weekend, and told me that it was working. Of course it wasn’t. I explained what you told me and they took my truck to the back and fixed it. 1 & 2 were the problem. Volvo took out the Climate control module and replaced it. Now it’s working. Thanks again

Probably the heater core valve front valve is stuck open, just make sure that the Climate Unit control is the right one for your truck, check that with nearest Volvo dealership, if the Climate Unit Control is the right one, then it could be the front heater valve. Thanks for watching and I hope this information helps.

any idea why my blend valve snaps shut every ten seconds only when set at 82 or lower, when set to max temp it stops?!?!
@LetstalkDIESEL4 жыл бұрын
1st. Air conditioning control panel must be check for possible liquid intrusion (like water, coffee, etc). 2nd. Thermostat sensor might be failing to control the temperature and that could be the reason to stop at the maximum temperature. This is my personal opinion, thanks for watching .

Do you mean the heater core? Or the heater core valve to open the flow of coolant?
