One of the best interviews yet 👍. As soon as Volvo stopped being an assembler with the VOLVO-GMC initial business and became a true manufacturer the option list grew. VOLVO have always in my opinion had the best off the shelf vehicles that could be specced to the customers need. Joel’s truck is probably over specced for a fleet truck, but many owner operators will find what they need at VOLVO. Remember the cost of the vehicle is a factor and a good all round truck can be specced adequately with out spending to much on the initial build. The advance warning features can affect your mileage efficiency and earnings considerably. There should be an option to switch off the adaptive brake control tied to following distance under certain circumstances as heavy and stop and go traffic. Perhaps it can automatically come back on when the cruise control is reset? Currently with the cruise control off the beeps and the brake being applied automatically, it can make the situation more stressful. The driver should have more control.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇸

Without carbon all life on earth dies, also these new trucks the exhaust coming out of the stack is cleaner than the air going into the engine, also what is def doing to the ozone??

DEF, stands for Diesel Exhaust Fluid. It’s the additive used to burn off, with diesel the remains of the spent diesel and its gases after combustion.

Then instead of using a fan inside your truck, just run a tube from your exhaust stack to the inside of your cab while you are sleeping. If you think the air coming out of your engine is cleaner than the air going out.

@@MrRld1960 it’s clear you don’t understand how carbon works and what it does for plant life on this planet, the 200+ active volcanoes around the world put out more carbon than all the vehicles on earth on any given day.
