Great video. ☺️ I see the Volvo B5LH Hybrid buses in London with this gearbox and it makes the bus jerk a lot which is quite similar to the ZF-AS Troni gearbox which is also a automatic gearbox that changes like a manual one like this Volvo i-Shift automatic gearbox.

I love my Volvo, been driving Volvo's since 2000. The latest one my Company gave me new back in late 2012 was their first with I-Shift truck. Currently have 435k miles on it and still running strong. Only Issues i had with the truck was a cracked injector(Bad Fuel in winter) & 2 DEF wiring issues. Other then that no problems. Only thing that bugs me is the Cab heat inconsistencies, Constantly having to play with the controls cause it can't hold a constant temp.

I dont think so,because a lot of things to fit,you need to reprogram or replace EECU,VECU,EBS,TECU, Instrument Cluster,wiring harness and of course hardware such a propellershaft,clutch servo and gearbox itself,if itdoes work will cost you a lot

what these guys don't understand is when these I shifts have wiring problems or messed up clutches or the TCM is thrown into limp mode because some sensor isn't reading properly and them engine bogs down using more fuel and the freight isn't delivered on time and the customer isn't happy.........do you see where im going with this.......

Its Father was the Geartronic as fitted to the FL range in the late 80's early 90's, that wasn't half as good as the I-Shift though
