The D16 in the VNL and VNR is the same as the D16 in the FH16 trucks in Europe and Australia,but with all the American emissions and DOT regulations the 750hp that the European engine has will never happen.Also here in the US we can buy a VNL/VNR ungovnered where in Europe they are factory governed at 55 to 60 mph and in Australia they are factory governed at 62 mph.

@PapiAndrey. The Model Designation for the Duel Clutch is: SPO2812; SP - Duel Clutch, O - Over Drive, 28 - 2800 N•m ~ 2065 Ftlbs Torque Rating, 12 Speed. Volvo’s D13K Turbo Compound 500HP~2800N•m is Usually Installed in Volvos FH 500 COE 4X2 Set Up or 6X2 or 6X4.

I want to see what it looks like inside and how much room it has for not only storage but how much room the sleeper has. I have driven a Freight Shaker and a KW and an International a Cabover Pete and a conventional Pete and a Volvo . For a team truck I my self prefer a Volvo because of the room and the storage. Not to mention the turning range. My second choice would be a Pete. It has almost the same tuning ratio as the Volvo. I also couldn’t complain about how the Volvo rode especially for the first 100 thousands miles. I also think that the Pete were built better of quality material than the Volvo in my opinion. But just like the Volvo about after a 100 thousand miles they started riding rougher.

I hope those aren’t the final design hood mirrors, they are awful compared to the current ones. I generally hate hood mirrors but y’all’s always looked so good. These look like the ones Peterbilt/KW just tack on or the first gen cascading. But really excited for the truck!

@@AZVIDS far not best ride - narrow seats with seams cutting your hips. Poor aerodynamics - windshield and door windows are instantly dirty in any rain or God forbid snow. Radius yes, nobody care though. PERMANENT yellow alarm light on dashboard on ANY given volvo - you call it fewer electrical issues? Etc etc.
