FYI. For those of us on a budget and do not need the power functions of the tailgate, you can replace the tailgate motorized struts with the standard gas tailgate struts as I ended up doing. Motorized struts were going to be over $700 in my area for both sides. I picked up the regular gas struts P/N 31457835 at my local dealer for $100 a pair! This video helped me complete the job!!! Thanks again!!!
