The procedure to replace the support battery on a xc40 is so much more annoying than the procedure for a xc90. As a man who was able to replace the support battery on my xc90 after watching the @WrenchingMafia video, I'm thankful for the video and glad that my car wasn't xc40.

Thank you. Never knew there was another little 12v hidden in the wheel well. So this car has 2 12v batteries and one 48v somewhere in the middle I assume.

If you have a 48v one you do not have a support battery 🔋. Is your vehicle a hybrid

Is it possible the main battery to be okay, but this one to be bad and because of that my volvo cannot power ON. When i push the start not working.

@@WrenchingMafia because today i checked the main and the guy told me it is okat, not bad, not terrible 😂 but he did not know that (me too) that i have secondary one. I hope when i change the secondary one the problem to disappear, because this can be the least expensive thing.

If the car will be parked for a period of several months, do I have to disconnect the negative cable from the main battery to keep the batteries charged, or must the auxiliary battery be disconnected as well? Thank you?

my 2019 XC40 T5's start / stop function hasn't worked for well over a year. However I'm not getting any error messages in the dash. Is it as simple as a dead support battery?

Yes that could be the case. A low state of charge battery can cause that too. Even if you're not getting a start stop Malfunction message in your vehicle your battery could be bad at time.
