Volvo XC90 2018 How to remove Rear Tail Light and bumper Drop.

8mm socket bolts holding the tail lights Have to take some of the trim panels out to get access to the bolts. and have to drop bumper to get to tail light bolt behind bumper. This is mainly showing how to take tail light out.

Makes it 10x easier if you have an inspection camera that you can insert through the side hole (for the top screw). I also used 2 to 4 plies of paper towel to hold the bolt tightly in the socket since I didn't have a magnetic socket.

Bro this helps but would be so much better if you went step by step actually taking each thing off in order. It's a video...we can skip through and go to what we need if we need to so filming the whole directions would be way more helpful. Just a word of advice for future.

So......how do u get to the bolts to drop the bumper...would have been nice to show that....duh

There are 4 T20 bolts. 2 in the wheel well and 2 by the exhaust. You don't need to pull any other bolts out to loosen the bumper. This Volvo was a bitch to replace a tail light on though. You have to pretty much gut half the interior to reach any of those screws on the inside.
