I got the chance to truly visit with Dutch in the early 80’s. Honestly one of the most interesting and intelligent people I’ve ever met. He decorated (and dated )a piece for me with his famous ‘flying eyeball’. By the date, he added a question mark. When I inquired why, he grinned and replied “ Were YOU here when they started countin’ years? I wasn’t! Who knows if they actually started with the year 0? You know how them damn politicians are!” Thank you Von Dutch!

it took 4 days of watching during my lunch breaks. I'm glad this was posted. It was nice watching two legends just bantering back and forth with some insightful tips, life history, some practicals of lettering and pin-stripping, and some funny off color humor. The 8 people who thumbs downed this video must have thought they were going to be looking at a clothing line video.

DAMN. Big DADDY Ed Roth and Von Dutch. Wow. can’t believe they were talking about smoking a joint and stripping . I know a stripper who is fantastic . When he smokes and drinks he goes beyond fantastic. The higher he gets the better he gets . And the amazing part is his hands shake all the time. Once he puts the brush to the car or whatever he’s painting it magic to watch. I watched him strip 6 hot rods in one day at the gator nationals and he made 3 grand. $500 a pop. He would go this for a week. He made about 10 grand every year at the nationals.
