As a recruiter myself, I highly recommend this video! Great content and the tips are very helpful. Indeed, a common mistake is that candidates talk too much about the context, and by the time they get to the action or result, they may get lost, or even worse, the hiring manager gets lost...

One thing that always trips me up is "Tell me about a time when..." I find many things are second nature to me at this point. It's hard to remember any specific situation because I've worked with thousands of people in countless situations. I do much better when I'm given a situation and asked how I would handle it.

I recently was asked about a time I had to break the rules and what was the result? I went blank because I didn't know if it was a reverse psychology kind of question.
@Voomer2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! That is a great question that tries to figure out how resourceful and initiative/results-driven you are. Ideally, you want to answer with an example from your career where you had to break or bend some inane rule that didn't harm anybody and got the job done. Good luck with your interview!

Hi sir, what if i get nervous while answering lengthy situational or behavioural questions..all of sudden my mind gets blank and i forget how to proceed further..Please help me.

Use the prep timer to write down two bullet points - just a few words each. How you want to start the answer and how you want to end the answer. Those two points will help keep you on track when you answer. Good luck with your interview!

My past employment history is not related to the medical field, the job I am applying for is for Physical Therapy. I have the office, computer and communication skills. How can I use my experience and connect this difference in the change of industry? My examples of challenges etc will not be this industry.
