This is an Awesome fan !... But WHERE did he get that Model 533 in Blue !!.. Vornado's website only shows colors black or white.. I want to buy a 2nd #533 fan and would Love to find a blue one !

Great vid thanks, very imformative. That is not large though. Traditional desk fans are about 12 inches, traditional room fans about 14 or 16 inches. It's not a portable or mini fan true, but for a room fan it is definitely not large.

How so? it's an electric motor that consumes less than most non LED light bulbs. some Centra airconditioners can consume some 3550 watts. That fan cost less to run than my security lights. your getting a more power fan when you buy the Vornado so of course the motor will consume a little more than your average fan. but it's pumping out way more air than a 20 dollar box fan

It is a shaded pole motor and they're very inefficient. That is why it is drawing a lot

Such a pity it's not made from metal, do not like it's all plastic, and stil you have to pay that much, even if it works great. Good review BTW.

I've had the same plastic table fan since I was an infant. I'm 25 now. I dread the day that it finally dies, because I'm so accustomed to it's sound lol.
