After years of using those cheaper dual fans, I got tired of having to put them up and and take them down every time I used them because they weren't weather resistant. So I finally bought a Vornado Transom.

Can you close your window behind this fan when cold outside, or will I have to remove it?

@@imjustdwight6891 No. The window can't close. But when the fan is off there is a cover on the inside that blocks the vent which should keep most of the air coming in or out.
