Good one Martyn! Good to see you trying out the vortex in vertical riser. After my experiments with Trevor's 4" design I finally built the 6" vertical design, similar to yours. This setup is a beast, as you've noticed here. The simplicity of this design appeals me as it makes it very easy to use, reload and not having to manage too much about air controls. Sufficient tuning of primary and secondary air built into the design is enough I found to give a super clean, lean burn without any smoke. As always, enjoyed your video. Waiting for the follow up video once you've built the entire stove!

That sound great my friend, you can add secondary air quite easily and effectively, i do have some previous videos showing how to do just that

@@foxfish7115 True. I built mine earlier in Summer. It's very basic and not pretty (unlike your stoves 😁 which are really cool). Since it's monsoon I haven't used it much lately. I'll do a video once I get a chance.

I'd say you definitely met the mission objective! I believe what you've done is to create a smooth transition from the burn tunnel to the riser that will more evenly distribute the heat around the perimeter of the riser base. I would like to presume this will not only improve vortex flow, but quite possibly the overall durability of the riser base ass well.

Lets hope so, I think a lot of the combustion will take place in the vortex chamber so perhaps a shorter riser? Also there is very little restriction with this design.

Use a mirror to film inside the riser without damaging your camera

Not v****x, turbine, a V. concentrates, after turbine, and explode also. See CNC cooler V. Anyway good job, congratulations.

I dont really understand your post but thanks anyway.

@@foxfish7115 I can't name the 1st word of the video title because algoYT? There are V. tube diagrams air cooling for CNC In theory - I have not checked everything in practice: What you have done rotates the flame but does not concentrate it totally, although the rotation and heat make a comic flame, And it would require a burster, for example a thermal engine spark plug, at the point of compression at the outlet, which would concentrate all the heat. There are V. that We find for car engines, as fuel saver, but I can't post a link, Do you want me to send you some by email? Not very difficult to build, to test - but will not long resist to the heat, made in thin sheet.

@@fred-san ok I will see if I can work out what you mean….
