I’m not an expert but with the pools I think the biggest things to worry about are the percentage rates how much they are taking a cut out of your money but also reliability how often it successfully mines and making sure the pool stays online so you can keep going

Ofc you have to calculate the electricity costs if it's worth it however it's also good to know that bitcoin repeats the cycle every 4 years the halving cuts the mining rewards in half thus the price will spike because it's an event that's anticipated
