I think Singaporeans are funnier than most Malaysians because of the way they speak their language.Their Singlish, wow, so funny but only if you can understand it, I think most foreigners don't get it.Even their Chinese comedies are funnier than Malaysian Chinese comedies because of the way they mix several dialects and languages, and of course the funny story lines are the main course.Btw I'm Malaysian.

Not really, i think becos we have to be so careful in malaysia as mentioning any person or any group of community u will kena backlash by the society, so our comedian hv to be very clever to maneuver their jokes to be politically correct. If u see Kumar comes Msia, depnding on how open the show is the degree of joke r noticable too (smaller club n sessions she tends to be more daring). Im not a fan of harith iskandar but having ppl like him that knows how to jab while being politically correct is bettr than not having enough of them.

For me I think that comedic taste varies greatly between people, you’re entitled to what makes your funny bone tingles. Harith Iskander in my opinion is okay in my book but what makes him stand out for me is he’s not only poking fun at things but also about sending those messages across through comedic platform.

My dad is pure Chinese and convert to Islam but the system only change the religion. The race is still same. Even my malay friend, I have to explain it. Ada paham? Of course ang moh not Chinese but he say IF the ang moh convert the religion to Buddhist, so his race also change lah? Kalau tak paham, then you the who idiot.

Even me myself they put in the system Malay just because I'm Islam. I don't know in Singapore but if in Malaysia they suppose to put race based on ur father. So I'm supposed to be Chinese not Malay same as the Halimah that he give example. She is Indian but people argue about it just because she is Islam.It simple understanding but people make it more complicated and create an argument.
