The cats are way over populated in Colorado. Where I archery hunt I never see mule deer anymore but I see lions almost daily. We need to manage them especially now that wolves are at it too

Just got my ballot book and the pro argument in that book still states that they’re often taken as trophies so they still found a loophole and got it in the book itself….

When a ton of hunters are paying lots of money and coming from out of state to hunt a mountain lion, it's a bit of a stretch to say it's only for the meat. There have also been arguments from fur trappers who sell the skins. We no longer live in an age where people need animal skins to stay warm, so how is that not trophy hunting?

Those who instigated this proposition will admit it is "just a start - for now." Hopefully all hunters and gun owners will register to vote on this, and also vote for Trump and all other Republicans on the ballot. This state is going down the tubes right now - it needs to STOP!

Why vote for Trump? He has no respect for law and order. He would use military against people who simply disagree with him. He would be totally inhumane to undocumented immigrants, who we actually depend on. Military generals of our country call him a danger to our country for a reason. If you leave sten to him in rallies, it is clear that he is nonsensical and cruel and unhinged. Best wishes. Please listen to Harris too. She has some good policies on her website and as heard on interviews.

Hunting is conservation. CPW does not recommend any reduction in Mtn Lion hunting in most units and actually tries to promote it in most units because they are overpopulated. Leave biology to our state biologists, who make these decisions for a living. Ballot box biology is never the right answer.

People who don't hunt ,fish or do a sting in the bush are the big problem, to many are very uneducated about wildlife and they are not friendly , or in a zoo .

While i do hope 127 doesn't pass, the numbers just don't support that conclusion. Biological education I feel is a far superior tool than discussing how lion hunting isn't trophy hunting. That dog just don't hunt. On this issue of other furbearers, 1 single video of a trapped animal goes a very long way in the public's mind about ending animal cruelty. We must do a better job with the science and biology of hunting to enable us to continue to do so. Trying to fear monger the public with "lion stalking's" and such is just plain foolish. Lastly understand it is not the rural community driving these decisions, its suburbia, large metro areas which large populations. A better tactic I feel is discussing the potential for viewing less deer and elk in parks, pets being taken by lions, starving cats due to over population, ect. Sadly with the tremendous growth in Colorado, rural folks have a lesser and lesser say in the things they truly understand.
