Voted Best Fish & Chips in the US | Eating at The Pub in Orlando, Florida

In today's video, we wanted to go to a restaurant in Orlando, Florida just off of I-Drive called The Pub. There are several locations of The Pub restaurant. We had never been before but thought it would be a cool place to check out, not only for their cool UK decorations, but also because they have been voted to have the best fish and chips in the US! That’s a big claim and we wanted to for sure try that out. Inside, the bar is awesome and we loved all the decor. The menu was good with lots of choices. The entrees we got were: fish and chips, pot roast, Rueben rolls, and a salad and fish sandwich. Everything was super good! The fish was really good! We haven’t had a ton of fish and chips to compare but overall we gave it a stinkin’ good and enjoyed it a lot! It was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp to it. The roast was also stinkin’ good! Very tender and top notch! We would say that the fish and chips is definitely on par for being some of the best in the US. The negative was their dessert menu. We thought they could have featured more on there. Overall, we thought this restaurant in Orlando, FL was awesome and worth a stop! Especially if you like UK, England style of restaurants with a cool pub theme and also great food! Plus the waiter and staff were nice! Hi Alex and Timber. My wife and I just got home from dinner at the Pub. Thanks for sending us there after your most positive review. We told them that we came because of your video. The owner watched your video while we ate. The service was so friendly and the fish was the best. We told the waiter that it was stinking good. We live in Mount Dora so we have enjoyed so many of your videos since we just discovered you guys 2 weeks ago. We love our local reviews. Food looked good but portions looked small, especially the Fish & Chips. Looked like you only got a few fries. Best Fish & Chips IMO is at the Golden Lion in Flagler Beach. Theirs are amazing!!!

We just got back from a cruise of the British islands including England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. At each port we made it a point at eating at the highest rated pub in the area. One of us would order fish and chips. All were very good, but if I’m honest, they were not too different from Good fish and chips at many places we have been to here in Orlando. Maybe it’s the massive British expat community that lives here or maybe it’s the fact that Fish & Chips is a very basic dish that’s hard to mess up. By the way, none of the true pubs in the UK are as grand as this one (or Raglan Road) they are super old (obviously) and have low ceilings, fireplaces and the like. Very cosy.

I haven't had decent fish and chips for over 20 years in C Fl and have tried them all so it seems!, There is some passable places but not one as good as a UK chippy as it is never as good in a restaurant as getting it from the chippy. Nowhere can get the chips right, the fish/batter at Raglan Road is just ok but the chips IMO were frozen as they had that weird texture inside even though they have a chippy attached. Fish and chips is harder to get right than you think! Even G Ramsays place just up the road form this place doesn't have"chippy chips"

We ate there awhile ago. It is very delicious. They validated our parking ticket for the garage so our parking was free. Be sure and ask them if you go there!

Informative and groovy episode. The Pub's theme is cool, the British look as it were, in an American way done. I have found that real street fish and chips in the UK are not very good; sort of the poor man's food. So it is funny that one has to come to the States to find the best English Fish and Chips.

Real Brit Fish & Chips are served with mushy peas, not slaw. I doubt they even the best in Orlando! Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips is likely better. It’s on I Drive too!
