These RICH housing developers wanna push out the minimum wage workers? Ok, what happens when restaurants, airports, business, Uber can't find any workers? Push out the working class then what? No garbage truck, no secretaries, no entry level positions filled cause the cheapest shoe box in a 50 mile radius is 2000 dollars rent..

I'm a landlord. Section 8 has been a nightmare and I no longer take them. Exclusively it's Section 8 that have destroyed my apartments. Fights between they and other renters that work and pay full rent happen frequently. I'm sure there are many that are good people, but all it takes is a few bad ones that cause $20K in damages and I stopped Section 8 all together. It will take years for me to recoup the losses I have from the damage they did.

Why do many Section 8 renters destroy apartments?
@eckankar7756
@eckankar7756 2 жыл бұрын
@@sean2015 Such a good question. They get a break on housing others don't, you'd think they'd value and appreciate that, but it seems to antagonize them. My Section 8 tenants, tore out dry wall, doors, flooring, toilets, ceilings for what purpose I don't know. It seems universal with so many getting housing assistance.
@sean2015
@sean2015 2 жыл бұрын
@@eckankar7756 I guess this is what happens when you give people freebies and handouts. Not only do you destroy their work ethic and de-incentivize them from earning their own living, you also create in them an overinflated sense of entitlement. They appreciate things less and demand more. Like the old saying goes: _"Give a mouse a cookie, and it's gonna want a glass of milk."_

I really wish that you would have a change of heart every section 8 tenant is not a bad person stop blaming it on cause somebody's on housing assistance destroying your problem There are regular renters that destroyed property that are not on section 8 that's discrimination the section 8 program is paying half of the rent when they're paying their portion it was a horrible tenant I can understand but everybody that's on section 8 is not the exact same way I was reconsider and moving into Miami Florida to have a different experience it'll be nice to have a landlord if I decide to move to Miami Florida that's open to section 8 I just don't understand why people look down upon people that have section 8 when the vouchers and helping others to afford rent if tenant is destroying your property put them out and literally don't let them continue to destroy Your property

P 1 of 4* Cities can eliminate homeless tent cities by replacing them with *homeless-communities* using _Pallet Shelter's_ existing *homeless shelter village components.* The _Community Room_ sells for $37,000 and serves as a shared laundry room, restaurant, *child daycare center,* and addiction services center. The _Bathroom_ cost $35,000 and the _Services Office_ costs $9,000. So for only $81,000 a city can establish a *homeless village.* The 10'X10' *Camping Cube Sport Pop Up Tent* costs only $120 and provides protection from the elements.

P *2 of 4* Cities are spending millions of dollars to open and run homeless bed shelters; that the homeless reject due to the many restrictions and lack of security. _Pallet Shelter's_ two person _Shelter 64_ cost only $7,000 and provides a dignified, secure sleeping base of operation. So for only $201,000 [$120 tents] a city can establish and run a *Homeless Shelter Village* with 1000 shelters that can accommodate 3,000: 3 beds and belongings per 10'X10' tent.

P *4 of 4* The homeless can simply move the tents they are using now into the homeless-village and the RVs are assigned a parking space. *Or the **_Shelter 100,_** provided by FEMA,* is a $9,500 shelter that is climate controlled, built in one hour, is 100 sq. ft., and uses a folding bunk system to house up to four beds. *_Pallet Shelter's_* private sleeping cabins offer *security* and durability. Which addresses the concerns of the homeless who reject the restrictions of “bed-only” homeless-shelters; for only one night.

Isn't it true that Chicago used to have a type of apartment called an SRO (single room occupancy)? These were bare minimum apartments for people like those in this video. Is it possible for South Florida to invest in these kinds of apartments that are designed to have very low rent? Wouldn't that help to alleviate the homeless problem here?
@highcaliberexclusive9890

Alot of Cities had them. Miami had them too they were all downtown. I remember up untill 2015. They were all torn down to build these luxury high rises. Even in Los Angeles where I'm from. These SROs where built for this issue but they were on prime real estate downtown. And now we're seeing this great rich migration back to the downtowns of the country. No longer the white flight we saw in the 60s 70s that led the crime eras of the Cities of crack 80s and gangs 90s.

F of Parts A-F The homeless-shelters are powered and heated with butane and solar-panels, depending on how well the infrastructure held up, which are integrated into the construction of the *temporary* _homeless-shelters._ Which are a dry, clean place to sleep, and store their stuff. People from the city drive out to the homeless-communities to pick up food bank food; because that is where the food banks and free-ice machines are located.

This should be the priority for not just us as Americans but in THIS election. There's a saying that states something to the effect of we can judge the state and character of a nation or even individual by how we treat the less fortunate, those in need, in prison and emotionally or physically ill. I look at the new apartments or car lots full of vehicles that sit for years either not purchased or vacant. I understand it's private property. I understand we live in a country that operates for profit in doing business. I wish someone could convince these business and property owners that we are a team in this country. The better you're doing both financially, emotionally and physically directly effects me. I don't know if I'll ever see this take place but we really need one another and we need each other to be able to feel secure and stable in life. Think of a basketball coach. Or a player. I know I want the most healthy, happy and enthusiastic player on my team . As do all of us I hope.

We really need rent control from the landlords, because homelessness will increase at a fast rate. Florida should pass a law to allow landlords to increase a small amount or % . My rent was increase 240.00 and my daughters was increased 500.00, from one month to the next. At this rate we might end up homeless someday. I know many that are struggling. that is a good idea in theory, but where i live on the west coast of canada large some of tax dollars have been spent of housing for the homeless, and it does little to curb the street life mentality they still have, because most are addicted to hard drugs, so housing them does not stop this behavior, overdosing, fights, stabbing, arson etc etc, so no matter how much is spent on them where i live, the programs here usually turn into little more than government run flop houses for drug addicts, i hope Miami has better luck!!!

Such as _Pallet Shelter's_ *Shelter 64* which sleeps two in a private cabin. Placed in combination with _Pallet Shelter's_ other components: *Community Room,* Bathroom, and Services Office; to form an entire *Homeless Shelter Village.* Where rent is 10% of net income for the 2 person shelter and 20% for the four person shelter. People need to trust in the LORD in all there way and lean NOT on their own understanding and their paths will be made straight, like the Bible says. A society that believes in the lies of evolution, uniformitarianism, and naturalism won’t have the right answers to problems. Jesus forgives, saves, and makes new. Repent unto him and be saved from HELL
