Thought this wild improvisation to be an oboe solo; actually is another double reed instrument, the rauschpfeife. Awesome stuff. Rasmus Fleischer is the featured soloist. {see below comment for correction on this point.}

Actually it's bagpipe, and the soloist is Max Persson.

3:54...Theres the proof that Knights adopted local clothing during the first wave of invasions. Both the guys playing chess are Europeans.

Make sense. It'll be stupid to ignore the clothing and customs developed from and for a specific region as foreigners.

do arabs not like chess or something?
@geralt.of.arabia97665 жыл бұрын
@@ratsvim7980 Travis Miller The Arabians and Muslims learned an early version of chess that was very simple from the people of India, and then in persia they developed chess as the world knows it today. Earlier forms of chess dates back to India in the 6th century. Modern rules and play styles were developed and tweaked by Sultans and Caliphs who enjoyed war and strategy games. And then the europeans came and learned of the game from the Umayyad Caliphate, but as we can see on the tent depicted in the video, the sigil of Tawheed is above the two men playing chess, which signifies that they are in fact Muslims, and more precisely, Andalus era. Back then, Al Andalus was quite multicultural, in fact some people of Sicilian origin, and some germanic, and some scandinavian, and quite a significant amount of Gaelic and Celtic people travelled to Al Andalus, and settled there after conversion to Islam, so it is most likely that these men were either Gaelic or Celtic, or Northern Arabian.
