Neither did Nigel Mansell, sadly. Just to underline how catastrophically bad Monaco is as a track in terms of difficulty overtaking, Mansell had to make a last minute pit stop after a puncture, and came out behind Senna. Now, Mansell had the insanely dominant Williams FW14B, which was the most advanced car on the grid in '92. He also had fresh tyres, and all the grip in the world. Yet even this wasn't enough for Mansell to force his way past Senna's McLaren, the latter of whom won the race by 0.2 seconds.

The Monaco GP is an historical but also an undeniably glamorous racing event. Would love to spectate it in person one day, possibly at the hairpin. Cannot wait for Quali later today and the race tomorrow! Last year it wasn’t held for the first time ever since 1955, it’s great that it’s back once again. P.S. The undisputed king of this track is Ayrton for sure. He ended up on the podium a total of 8 times, 6 of which were wins. The most ever here.

I visited Monaco once a few years back on a trip to Menton (basically just down the road) and oh boy was it a bizarre experience. It's like a really well maintained ghost town. The country is absolutely beautiful, filled with gorgeous architecture and public gardens, but you barely see anyone walking the streets or driving around. I'm sure if it was part of France and had cheaper house prices and stuff like that, it would be bustling, at least given the areas that are around it, but as it is it's an opulent ghost town.
@EmmaVB822 жыл бұрын
100%! I went to Monaco for the day while I was on holiday in Nice back in 2015, and this was exactly my impression of it. So much so that we were making jokes about it being a zombie town, or filled only with vampires, and perhaps they only came out at night. We drove there via Èze, which was an amazing (walking) climb up these meandering tiny streets to a fantastic view at the top, then after taking some fortuitous wrong turns, instead of taking the most direct route we ended up driving into Monte Carlo going too fast down the amazing steep zig-zaggy Rte. de Beausoleil. The whole thing was definitely an experience! We weren't much for casinos though, and definitely don't have the kind of money to make the most of a town like that! So we cut the trip short after some lunch and wanderings, and drove back to Nice for dinner, which felt like a way more compatible vibe 😊 Almost all of this has nothing to do with the video, but thanks for the opportunity for a bit of reminiscing! 🥰

Great video.. just critically failed to mention that: Monaco has THE MOST exciting qualifying. For most GP weekends you watch 70-80% for the race and 30-20% for qualifying, in Monaco since qualifying is so important (and it’s often where drivers will crash because they are pushing the cars to the absolute limit surrounded by walls) that qualifying is as important as the race. @@agrapanambunan5288 very true! The only criticism I have about Formula E is that it's so uncanny watching racing without the cars making any noise. It weirds me out. Everything else has it shaping up to be a very interesting and dynamic sport.

Mistakes are very normal in life so when you make a drastic mistake, the best thing to do is learn from it and quickly move on because living in the past would only destroy your future. In 2018 i lost nearly everything, i was at the verge of taking my own life but thanks to a few friends who stood by me, i was able to get over my suicidal thoughts. Fast forward to this very moment and I’m proud to say that I’m a millionaire but i promise you, my journey wasn't easy but in the end i came out on top. I tried all sorts of businesses, i even sold drugs at some point but nothing seemed to be working for me. And on one faithful Sunday morning in a Life development class in church, i finally got lucky. I was introduced to a man who God used to turn my life around, talking about Mr Louis Berry. Louis is a portfolio manager who works for Crestline Capital, a US based fund management firm.
@simplycorker18693 жыл бұрын
He offered to help me invest in the financial market and knowing how good a trader he is,I quickly took a 10K loan from a friend of mine and I investd everything with Louis. To my surprise, in less than 2 weeks I got paid my first profit of $6,291. I kept on reinvestin my profit for another 1 year and made a total of $404,850 and with that I was ready to get my life and businesses back on track

Monaco is all about glamour and glitz. The race here is boring with literally no place for overtaking as the cars have become bigger and wider. The qualification is more important than the race itself. At least we have got legendary drivers like Nikita Mazepin to provide some on track action this weekend
